4 years ago, my dear friend, Debbie Abel,asked me to join her as her Vice President for her 2nd term as the president of the Zonta Club. I reluctantly agreed as I knew she was such an awesome leader and I would learn so much. Unfortunately, Deb became sick and was unable to fulfill that role. I continued on with her encouragement and became President 2 years ago. It has been quite an experience. Tonight, I passed the gavel on. My godmother, Sherin Cunningham helped to make the evening come full circle by having Debbies past president pin presented to me. This is a very special sisterhood of ladies who I have been honored to work with. Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement!
