40 years ago today on a Saturday.on Saint Patricks day .I was baptist into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saint. The events that led up to this.was I invited my Friend Tammi Myers to My Baptist church where they were giving anti Mormon lectures on there church. The more I investigated everything that was said in that meeting one by one I found out that what the presenter had told many falsehood about the LDS faith. My friend Tami sat there though the whole thing while her church was being trashed with lies. Afterword the deal was I would visit her church . I t was a little chapel.I felt unusually calm and peaceful I had never felt before in churches. For those of you who know the area it was the building on Reseda bvd. Tami asked if I would like to take the missionary lessons with her .I asked how much do they cost? All my questions were pretty much answered by the missionaries.(I sure gave missionaries a lot of grief) After 3 lesson .I went to LDS church again. It was fast Sunday where people donate a portion of money to the poor.. I sat there in between 2 friends tami and Stephan miles in the back where a little wall hung out.Figured no one could see me. I turned to Stephan and asked can anyone bear there testimony .He said yes. I said I want you all to know Tami lied when she said it didnt cost anything for missionary lessons.Loud hush came over the congregation.I said thats right because it costs you everything. It a pearl of great price .You have to be willing to summit to changes Change friends and make and cost us very dear. Some day I Hope that you will allow me to be a members of this church for its doctrines are true and I cant deny it. There was not a dry eye in that tiny chapel. For my friends and family, If You ever felt something was missing that you needed to feel more grounded in your life.Here it is all you have to do is reach for it .God is there.for . This is my testomny. Just as true today as 40 years ago. Amen
