#400 MBBS **** till 2006, AIPMT was the best exam in India.. why? There was nothing called reservation in this exam because it was believed that in healthcare only meritorious should enter and was really better.. after that just to create vote banks of lower caste people govt introduced (forcefully) reservation in AIPMT and the scenario changed dramatically... the one who were far from selection marks got their admission to Mbbs And truly deserving guys got nothing but a head throbbing frustration... it is unfair and will remain so... it is acceptable that if someone is not earning and belongs to lower caste he should or MUST be given the privilage but the one who earn enormous and still taking advantge of the system in pathetic... and pathetic is the govt and moreover the system of India... cutoff UR- 78% and for resered categories 56%??? Does it sound fair? Nowhere... and this is what aipmt exam is doing... creating differences and distances... and student commited suicide after failure in aipmt because he was general and cudnt get a seat.... removal of reservation is important... not for the protection of merit but for nation as well..
