42 - Spaceship TITAN radios SOS Honur is the grave of spaceships - who lands on the planet, is lost! In order to meet with the GANYMED, Thora suggests as meeting place the planet Honur of the sun Thatrel. However, this planet is since 12,538 BC under galactic quarantine. The dust desert, which Bully lovingly called Wüstenei, seems to shelter no dangers. The TITAN comes in to land. It is welcomed by locals who call themselves the Reformated, but are provided by Perry Rhodan with the name Honos. They seem to be descendants of the Arkonides, but are degenerated. Apathetic they sit in front of the spaceship and seem barely to take care of the crew. With them they carry only seemingly innocuous Nonus-bears, which are ogled by the crew. After a short time the astronauts are crazy about the animals and keep them as pets. Rhodan meanwhile interquire into the question of why this planet is so unrealistic harmless. In order to confirm his doubts, he starts with Julian Tifflor, the Arkonide Crest and the Scout Wuriu Sengu in a Gazelle to investigate the Wüstenei in detail. Also included is the mousebeaver Gucky, who is disturbed by the smell of the new crew favorites. The astronauts find during the exploring several arkonid wrecks and other vessels and investigate these in more detail. Gucky and Sengu find in the rooms of the completely demolished and dismantled shipwrecks skeletons, which are completely undressed and lie partly under meters of dust. Rhodan decides to return to the TITAN, but there is meanwhile broken out the Nonus Plague. The Argonin-pathogen threatens the lives of 700 people, among them Bully and Thora. It is Rhodan and his companions only with great difficulties possible, to bring the TITAN back in their possession, to radio SOS to the GANYMED and to destroy attacking robot ships. The scientists of the GANYMED make out, that the Nonus-bear bears the pathogens that are artificial in nature; but a cure for the 700 infected people does not seem to give.
