42, Female: I am the wife to the man who found out he was a father after we both agree to not have kids. Weve decided to raise him. Weve also decided to put him In counseling. His mother did quite a number on the boy. Weve also told him that he doesnt to call us anything but by our first names. We were never his mom and dad, we will earn that title at his pace. Im glad this happened during the summer. Its easier for him to get to know everyone. I have a close friend with a teenage sin who is well behaved. He will be staying with my new step son during the day while we are at work. We took him to the dr almost immediately and had him checked out. Last said he was under weight. He also has scars all over his body he wont answer for. They are big slices or burns, just these tiny cuts. There must be over a hundred. We took him to mobile and got ourselves pampered. Took him shopping. And weve been out to eat several times. Turns out the only place hes ever been is mcdonalds. So sad since that place doesnt serve real food. Hes gained nearly 20 pounds since day one. I feel myself changing. Becoming someone new. And as for my husband, hes doing a fine job. I guess we were more cut out for parenthood than either if us thought. Thanks for the support.
