43 days left, after which I will head from Iraq to Dubai and directly to Taiwan. I had thoughts of making a side-trip but thats not going to happen and maybe its for the best. No place is ever the same as you remembering, is it. After a week in Taiwan its back to America and farewell to Asia- maybe forever. The bidding philosophy of never retracing your steps is sounding better and better to me. Its a big world and we have just one life to see it in, right? Leave the past where it belongs. Enjoy la dolce vita.
