#4439-Looking at a few other confessions, I realized that few of us have been blaming their HRs too. I am an HR and heres my confession I Worked for 4-5 hours extra everyday for a duration of 1.8 years totally just to handle extra HR Responsibilities. Being an MBA, I always wanted to get into the Infosys HR Team. I had good rapport amongst my seniors, Managers, Project leads and even the DC Heads. They knew me personally. The day came when I applied for my first HR IJP. This DC head referred me to the selection committee personally. But the internal politics in the HR team ruined everything and they ended up hiring someone from outside who didnt even had any knowledge about working on Employee Engagement. I resigned just 1 month after this incident. They tried retaining me...Right from my managers to DC heads and now I am happily working with an IT company in Pune and heading their HR Department for their corporate office. All I want to say is sometimes you will fall prey to official policies/politics/grudges, etc but you should MOVE ON and GO ON. :) DC - Pune Phase - 2 DOJ - Jan 2010 DOL - 2012
