#45 So what is the distinction between being in love and having a crush/wanting to be close friends with someone/strongly admiring someone/desperate fantasizing? Is there even a distinction? Theres this person who I think about a lot these days. When I watch a movie or read a book I like, I wonder if hed like it too. I want to talk with him about everything and I want to know what he thinks about everything. I want to know him, and I wish he could know me better because I feel like he might understand me. I find him thoughtful, funny, intelligent, patient, kind... Even though I keep bumping into him, I dont have full conversations with him much because Im scared hell find me awkward. But Ive listened to him talk with my other friends, and I feel like I click with so much that he says, which is awesome because I dont really click with people very often. Hes in a happy relationship and I cant even think about ruining that... I do find him physically attractive but mostly when I think about him Im just imagining conversations we could have. Whatever you guys have to say, Id really be interested in what you guys think (hopefully something more than if youre in love, you just feel it). Not even necessarily as a personal solution, but just because its a question Ive wondered about before, especially because people always say theyre in love so easily and Ive never really understood what that means. How is it different from other relationships/feelings? Or is it just a fantasy we subscribe to haha.
