46 MINUTES - MONDAY COLLECTIVE Anyone with reservations that our country’s Olympic legacy was a forgotten promise needs to watch 46 Minutes. A youthful, vibrant cast take us back to a day the media coined ‘Super Saturday’, when Team GB won a flurry of gold medals in a single evening. While most of us were glued to our TVs, Jane’s simply wasn’t turned on. After traveling back from a food festival, her friends and her were hopeful for an Olympic standard evening in each other’s company. If only they had a spare TV cable! 46 Minutes takes place in real time - you as an audience member are invited to participate and re-enact what happened on the evening we were proud to be British again. The show throws together unlikely, awkward characters, but it is through missing the Olympics that night which brought them together as a team. An endearing, witty and memorable performance which carries significance for us all.
