46 years ago and 250,000 miles away, The crew of Apollo 8 became the first men to orbit the moon. It was Christmas eve 1968 (all in all a pretty bad year in the US) and Frank Borman, James Lovell and William Anders made the inspired decision to read from the first chapter of Genesis during their live broadcast from lunar orbit. (Obviously this was before the ANTI-theists had worked so hard to curtail our right to religions freedom). Personally, this is my favorite Christmas Eve reading ever. I hope that EVERYONE has a wonderful and blessed Christmas. https://youtube/watch?v=bnyNXLXl8iA
