Hope that is ok to tell people?) The focal of this necklace is a fossilized seashell covered in drusy crystallized quartz. A pocket of these amazing shells was recently found in the Sahara Desert in Africa where they have been hiding for millions of years in a land once covered by the ocean. They are rare to find, and even harder to locate as a jewelry designer! This particular shell is beautiful all around, with drusy on the outside and deep inside the shell, it was also special because of its beautiful peachy color, most of them are white to off-white in color. I wire wrapped the shell on sterling silver wire onto a sterling silver bail with a crystal copper colored Swarovski crystal and small sterling silver sand dollar charm. The rest of the necklace is made from a beautiful strand of matching fresh water pearls, crystals and sterling silver. I finished the necklace with sterling silver chain and a lobster claw clasp. The necklace is adjustable in length between 18-19, the pendant section is 1.5 long and the shell is 1 in length. All silver is .925 Sterling Silver.
