4TH SUNDAY OF LENT JESUS IS THE LIGHT Cardinal John Henry Newman was a professor at the Oxford University. When he was an Anglican priest, along with the other scholars, he started the Oxford Movement. The aim of this movement was to authenticate the veracity of the foundation of the Anglican church on the teachings of the Apostles and the fathers of the church. When he was 32yrs old, his health was bad and he took a break from his writings and went to Europe to recuperate. But unfortunately, he contracted a deadly fever. In his confussion and distress, Newman prayed to the God of light to lead him, to lead him from darkness to light, from confussion to certainty, and frm sickness to health. In 1845, he got converted to Roman Catholic Faith. * Moses met God in the burning bush * God led the Isrealites in the night in form of the pilar of fire.
