5/16 - Day 5 of personal facts: I wont ride a city transit in Thunder Bay anymore because of a very unusual situation. I was in high school taking the mainline from Westfort to CR. I just dropped off someones pager who forgot it at a swimming hole. Doing a good deed, and you know this story is old when a pager is involved. Anyways, while riding back a bat flew in through the top of one of the windows. The female bus driver literally freaked out opened the door and jumped out. The other passenger and I were like WTF, as we are ghost riding down the street and hit a curb and slow down on the grass. As the bus came to a complete stop. The driver proceeds to yell from the outside, Im not getting back on the F****ing bus till that bat is out of there. So the other guy on the bus was trying to swat it out with his hat. Eventually it left the bus. The driver got back in and continued the route, like nothing happened. TRUE STORY as ridiculous as it may sound, and the reason why I wont take city transit here.
