5/21/2014 Just before 5:30 PM, Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to a reported structure fire at 3008 Cartwright. When firefighters arrived, they found smoke coming from a vacant house. When firefighters entered the house, they found a small fire in a closet. The house was vacant, with no utilities connected, and the fire appears to deliberately set. The fire damage was confined to a small area with smoke damage throughout the house. There were no injuries.
