5 December 1969 Television: 24 Hours: The World Of John And Yoko – day four The fourth day of a five-day shoot for the BBC documentary 24 Hours: The World Of John And Yoko took place in the countryside in Lavenham in Suffolk, England. The 35-minute documentary was first shown from 10.30pm on BBC 1 on 15 December, and extracts were also used in the 1988 documentary Imagine: John Lennon. Lennon and Ono had agreed to the BBC following them for five days in exchange for the rights to the footage. On this day the couple were also making a film, Apotheosis 2. The shoot took place in the early evening in Lavenham, and the BBC filmed the scene as it unfolded. Lennon and Ono were captured huddling together waiting for the balloon to ascend. In some shots they wore an enormous black cape, but in others they were without it. That night Lennon, Ono and the BBC crew stayed at the Bull Hotel in Long Melford. The filming for 24 Hours concluded there the following day. https://youtube/watch?v=KV-M3WlZmGA
