(5 November 2014, @9:54pm) this is our dear Mycah, manifesting a sign of muscle weakness when she gets up from bed... a symptom of Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM)... Im showing this to create awareness about such rare sickness... an autoimmune disease wherein the immune system is attacking or weakening the muscle tissues.... You may not care in what I say/show here, or simply dont care about me... nevertheless, I just want you guys to be aware... I love my children so much and I know you all do too with your own. two months ago, we even enrolled our little girl to a ballet class because she really likes it,.. then before she can even finish her ballet sessions after a month, she can not do her basic ballet exercises anymore.. shes having a hard time lifting her legs... the 1st symptom of JDM that manifested on her were some rashes on her finger joints, elbows & knees.. it was only after a series of derma treatments for allergies, that we noticed that she seems to exhibit weakness getting up and easily tire when walking even short distances... later this afternoon Nov.6, will be her follow-up chkup for the result of her last medical test..,tomorrow, November 7, Mycah may begin his treatment with a 1st dose of oral steroid intake... and our journey begins towards JDM treatment,,, God be with us.,,
