5 Star: Crystal G. Excellent and honest customer service. As a 22 year old college student, my pockets are nearly empty. My car broke down about three weeks ago and I was towed through AAA to Logan Square Auto Repair. I described the situation to Rick, and explained to him that my hands were tied financially but needed to have an estimate on what had gone wrong with my car (it ended up being a seized engine... very expensive). Rick waived the diagnostic fee for me, and used his own, personal time to run a few tests on my vehicle. By the end of the day he had called me back and very kindly explained the options I had going forward. Knowing full well I was incabpable of paying the $1-2,000 in parts and service fees, Rick kindly allowed me to store my car in his lot for TWO WHOLE WEEKS. During these two weeks, Rick helped me tremendously in other ways as well. He referred me to several junk yards in which I was able to get a very good deal to junk my car, and was patient and understanding that I was unable to get these things done as immediately as we both would have preferred (I live in the suburbs). I am eternally grateful for Ricks honesty, his generosity, and his business. Without LSAR, I would be at a complete loss and even more in the hole financially. I recommend Logan Square Auto Repair for ALL of your car needs. You cannot find a better, more genuine shop in Chicago. Thank you, LSAR!
