5 Star Hotel Sharm El Sheikh Learning and Development Manager Education HR Management or Hotel Management Minimum 3 years experience in similar position in 4 or 5 star Hotel chain Excellent English speaking Able to create Training and Development function modules is responsible for defining and implementing the Hotels training initiatives Key focus areas of this department include: establishing the infrastructure (administrative and delivery) to provide the highest quality of service within our Hotels. Good Computer skills specially power point Excellent social and interpersonal skills Flexible Self starter Leadership skills Good communicator ISO •Develop an annual audit schedule including all departments within the ISO scope across all JIAH properties. •Along with the Corporate Business Excellence Manager, coordinate with Lloyds Quality Assurance for surveillance audits and changes or updates with the standard where applicable. •Maintain all procedures and standards in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, hotel procedure and health & safety requirements. •Review processes and procedures within departments once a year across all JAIH properties. •Record, approve and control all document changes in accordance with the ISO standard across all JAIH properties. •Manage the internal audit function and team of assessors to ensure audits are presented in a professional manner and acted on accordingly. •Ensure that Business Excellence maintain a copy of all policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and documents of external controls and inspections across all JAIH properties. Feedback. •Manage the response process for all guest feedback across properties in the key languages where appropriate, and handle any complaints in a timely manner. •Present monthly performance statistics to all department heads across all properties. •Coordinate the follow up on all non compliances and corrective action required received through various channels. •Liaise with the Learning and Development Department regarding any required trainings from trends analyzed in the monthly statistics report across all properties. •Oversee the regular updating of the Business Excellence notice board with relevant information at both JAGRS and OBT. General •Ensure that the Business Excellence department is represented at the daily morning management meeting at both JAGRS and OBT. •Attend the weekly management meetings at JAGRS and OBT as and when required. •On a monthly basis chair the departmental communication meeting in the absence of the Corporate Business Excellence Manager. •Conduct associate appraisals as and when required, and ensure that paperwork is completed and processed in line with the standard operating procedure. •Assist with the recruitment process for vacancies within the department as and when Environmental •Coordinate the process for the management of environmental impact, awareness and development across all JAIH properties. •Coordinate Environment Activities/Initiatives across properties to increase awareness for guests and employees. •Prepare Environmental Reports including facts of figures from carrying out Environmental Initiatives.
