5 killed in road accidents A 40-year-old man, K Srisailam, suffered grievous injuries when the motorcycle he was riding skidded on Road No 10 of Banjara Hills on Friday. He was immediately rushed to the Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) where he died a few hours after the admission. He was an employee of GHMC and resident of Janaiah Nagar of Moosapet, Banjara Hills police said. In another case, 28-year-old Asif Hussain died of injuries which he suffered after he lost the control of the bike he was riding and hit a road divider near his residence in Ibrahimbagh of Golconda on Friday night. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died in the early hours of Saturday, according to Golconda police. In RGIA police limits, 50-year-old G Narayana was severely injured when he was hit by a jeep while he was crossing the road at Gaganpahad crossroads. The accident occurred on October 30. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment where he succumbed on Friday night. He was a mason and resident of Sathamrai of Shamshabad. Another pedestrian, 55-year-old K Chandraiah succumbed to the injuries which he suffered after he was hit by a motorcycle on Sagar Ring Road on Friday. He was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where he died a few hours after admission. He was a resident of Sharda Nagar Colony of Bairamalguda and native of Nalgonda district, according to LB Nagar police. In a different case, a 55-year-old man, K Chittaiah, died after being hit and run by an unidentified vehicle near Cine Planet in Pet Basheerabad police limits on Friday night. On being taken to Gandhi Hospital, he was declared brought dead. He was an employee of a private firm and resident of NCL Colony.
