5 stages of the journey of attitudes towards people with disabilities: ignorance > pity > care > friendship > peer (co-laborers). As long as faith-based schools are not inclusive of students with differences in ability (daily interaction in a community of learning), neuro typical students will tend to stay in the ignorance/pity stages. They may reach the care stage through occasional exposure with community service projects and missions trips. Inclusion in faith-based schools is a huge opportunity to grow in the care/friendship/peer stages and be excellent in their faith, the primary reason faith-based schools exist. #FaithInAction #AuthenticReciprocity #Inclusion
