5 years Ive waited! 5 long years! Some people say Im impulsive, but actually Im very patient. I detailed a large rig for a local business customer. Later in the day, discussion turned to a situation I was going through at the time. We verbally agreed to a cord of wood, or $175 for the detail charge. Neither showed up. Months of back and forth, mostly me to no avail. Wasnt worth it to sue, but it pained me that he thought of me this way. (Never had a problem with him previous.) So this past summer I ran into him and politely asked regarding the cord of wood that he owed me some years back. He was a bit shocked. So was I, even after all this time I had the nerves to do what I told myself I had to do if I ever saw him. Glad I did. Hes dropping off a cord on Sunday. Maybe Ill have him back as a customer. I hope this gains me a little more respect again in the community. Im still here and living life on my terms and doing what needs to be done.
