5 years ago today at 12:27 pm Dr. Pierce placed a beautiful 5 lb 13.9 oz baby girl on my chest. I looked at her and said she is beautiful but I cant hold her cuz I cant feel my arms. So Mrs. Kim the nurse picked her up and took her to the nursery to be bathed and all that good jazz. Once I woke up at 4:30 pm I finally got my hands on my little Olivia Nell for the very first time. She was so tiny. Bright red hair and big blue eyes. Sleeping like a little angel. Since then she has grown so much. She is so smart. She is breath takingly gorgeous. She has faced and overcome every obstacle life has thrown at her. She is my fighter. My miracle. My blonde haired blue eyed firecracker. She has given me hell. She has scared me to death. She has shown me my own faith. She made me stronger and smarter. She (along with CJ and Elizabeth ) has made me one hell of a mom. She has taught me lessons I never dreamed of learning and I am so thankful that God made her just for me. I love you Olivia Nell Charlton with all my heart to the moon and back and all the way to Pluto. I wouldnt trade you for a million bucks. Happy 5th Birthday my sweet girl. I hope your day is fabulous. Momma and Daddy stayed up til 4am making sure everything was perfect for you today.
