5 years ago we first launched our event Insomnia at a club in Wakefield called Bank. For those who remember it started at midnight and closed at 9am. We installed massive sound systems and lighting rigs throughout, and had some of the best locally talented djs play for us each month. The club was absolutely rammed on both floors and come 9 in the morning at closing time there was a sea of ravers who came from all over the country all dancing through the city centre trying to find another party as one big family. One of the most memorable times was when Jackinori and ryan james were going back to back at 8 in the morning with the sun shining through the windows, we had two crazy naked girls on stage performing certain acts on eachother off their own accord and the whole crowd were shouting for more when the police came in and shut us down haha. We once held insomnia at a warehouse we found just outside the city centre with ms dynamite performing and the police of wakefield were that shook hearing there was so many people coming from all over the country that they shut it down an hour before we had to open, and we had to take almost 2000 people last minute to kerbkrawla club in Leeds along with Ms. dynamite and hold the party there at very last minute. We pulled it off, it was an amazing night and something i dont think many people could have done. Since then We have taken our Insomnia party all over the world and even won the official award for Leeds Best Night.
