50,000 people, most on bikes, were out on the new SiClovia Southtown route yesterday. As usual, San Antonio Bike Tours/San Antonio Adaptive Trikes talked to more people than we could keep track of about our TerraTrike recumbent trikes and sent many of them out of the street for a test ride. Among the testers were a developmentally disabled young lady who cant balance a regular bike, a couple people who had had knee replacements, and the usual plethora of riders with back/tailbone/shoulder issues. More and more were talking to people who dont have physical problems but who recognize the comfort of the recumbent trike. As usual all the bent riders in San Antonio found our booth and it was good to see old friends; this year with the added benefit of a roving ukele player on a B-cycle! Thank you Dan Thompson for being our right-hand-man and Steph, Heather, and Kent for being our mobile marketing squad. I love SiClovia!!!
