50 DAYS - DAY 46 Pray the opening prayer from Day 44. Today, Father God wants to continue to deal with the “BLAME GAME” in our lives and set us free! The Holy Spirit is going to reveal people that you have had judgments and accusations against and places that you may have judged your parents, authority figures, or anyone that has hurt you or let your down in some way; fallen short of the mark. This goes back to the womb. These are not just words that have come out of your mouth; these also include judgments that you have made in your heart. They make you sick in your spirit, soul, and body. If this is not dealt with, you may literally be wearing cursing as a garment. It’s time to make an exchange. Example: “My mother never wanted me. She was never a good mother. She stayed sick all the time.” While this may very well be a true statement, it is a judgment. The legalist, Satan, holds these words against us. They are actually seats of unforgiveness that bind us and others. Remember, love keeps no record of wrong. God tells us to even bless our enemies. These are places where we have pronounced curses instead of blessing. Today’s Scripture Portion: Read and meditate on the scriptures below. Psalm 109 Matthew 7:1-5 1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye NIV Psalm 62:3-4 3 How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down– this leaning wall, this tottering fence? 4 They fully intend to topple him from his lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. NIV Psalm 109:17-20 17 He loved to pronounce a curse–may it come on him; he found no pleasure in blessing–may it be far from him. 18 He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, into his bones like oil. 19 May it be like a cloak wrapped about him, like a belt tied forever around him. 20 May this be the LORD’s payment to my accusers, to those who speak evil of me. NIV Psalm 109:26-29 26 Help me, O LORD my God; save me in accordance with your love. 27 Let them know that it is your hand, that you, O LORD, have done it. 28 They may curse, but you will bless; when they attack they will be put to shame, but your servant will rejoice. 29 My accusers will be clothed with disgrace and wrapped in shame as in a cloak. NIV This may be an ongoing process that can last for several days – as the Holy Spirit reveals to you any judgments that you have made. Pray the following: Father, I receive the Word of God today. Holy Spirit, reveal to me anyone that I have made judgments against or hold judgments in my heart against. Reveal to me why this is. Help me, Lord God. Forgive me of these judgments and heal and fill the very place that resulted in the judgment. You will pray the following prayer over yourself and others as the Holy Spirit reveals. Father, I confess all judgments that I have made against __(name)______, as sin. I ask You to forgive me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I forgive ___________ and release all judgments that I have made against him/her. I bless __________in the name of the Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Sometimes it is not a matter of forgiving the person – just that you have judged them, so release the judgment. Example: I release _________, and all judgments that I have made against him/her. I bless __________ in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
