* * $50 PER DOG PAID TO NON-PROFIT RESCUERS TOWARDS 48 DOGS ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 20 - RESCUERS NEED TO E-MAIL LAURA MADARAS FOR AUTHORIZATION BEFORE PULLING DOGS - MAKE SURE RESCUERS READ ALL OF THE RULES * * In an effort to save more lives of dogs in Southern CA kill shelters and to make leukemia patient Anthony Lyons happy as he looks at pictures of these saved dogs, Laura Madaras has devised the following campaign * For every dog that a non-profit gets out of the following kill shelters on Tuesday (up to 48 dogs), she will send $50 per dog to the rescues PayPal account after the dog leaves the shelter. All rescuers who have an interest in this program must immediately send an e-mail to: dogsneedhomes@aol The rescuer must also already have a current Friend status with Laura Madaras on her Facebook page. Each rescuer will be sent a code number and must send Laura a Freedom picture of that dog out of the shelter before Friday, January 23. Since there are limited funds, the $50 payment will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. So the sooner the rescuer tells Laura how many dogs they plan on pulling Tuesday, she will know when to cut the program off. The rescuer must notify Laura ASAP since there is currently money for 48 dogs. If a rescuer doesnt contact Laura by e-mail first, she cant pay for their sponsorship. The dogs must be pulled from any Southern California kill shelters in these counties only: San Bernardino, Riverside or Orange County. When sending your e-mail and pull information, please state which shelter you will be obtaining the dog(s) from. * A friend of Anthony Lyons started a Facebook event so he could be happy looking at dog pictures when he wasnt visited by therapy dogs during cancer treatments. The page went viral and has over a million people whove sent pictures of their own dogs to cheer Anthony up. Its called, Photo Doggies for Anthony.
