50 years have passed since that Friday on November 22,1963, when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on the streets of Dallas. Lee Harvey Oswald killed a policeman about 45 minutes later and then was killed himself by Jack Ruby, who somehow gained access to the Dallas police station where he shot and killed Oswald.
