51 years ago we, Ruth Ann Swenson and Arnold Olson, were married for time and all eternity, in the Cardston, Alberta Temple, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That was a half century ago! Last evening we celebrated with two of our daughters, their husbands and one grandchild (the rest could not be there) at Applebees restaurant. On this Sabbath day we reviewed in our minds the covenants and promises we made to each other, as husband and wife, and as we attended the re dedication of the Ogden, UT temple. We have lived together through lots of trials, some hardships and many happy times but our devotion to each other and love of our Savior has blessed our marriage. And from this marriage 6 beautiful daughters were born. We express our love to our immediate and extended families and many dear friends we have made over these long, but happy years.
