#5218: I feel like as a Hijabi, everything I do has to be extra because Im almost always scrutinized. I feel like every day I wake up, I have to dress nice because God forbid I come in with a sweater I would be a bad image of Muslims and just confirm the stereotype that Muslims/Arabs/Brown people (for lack of a better word) could care less about their presentation and that Im not just a student who is tired and hasnt had enough sleep. I would be walking around with earphones and people would be looking at me like she has ears under that tent shes wearing?...or is she listening to music? because that is HARAM! It may be hard to believe to some of you, but were also human.
