6 Days Old today! 24 more hours of squeaking, squirming, eating, twitching, and snuggling have come and gone. The puppies are starting to put everything in their mouths. Each other, their own feet, tails, little bits of fleece blankets...theyre getting very curious. Everyone but little Pretty Penny is over 1lb, and she sure is close! North: 1lb 2oz Dragon: 1lb 0.5oz Penny: 15.75oz Ducky: 1lb 1.75oz Clover: 1lb 0.25oz Seven: 1lb 1.5oz Wishbone: 1lb 1oz My OCD leads to everything being done in order. So, weights are always done in birth order, ENS done in birth order, nail trims done in birth order... So if youre watching the ENS videos it should be easier to compare than if they were done at random :) Heres todays installation for those interested: youtu.be/rbvQSctYyCI I have to teach tomorrow, but will hopefully be able to get some individual One Week photos to you in between snugglings and teaching :) Jeff spent a few hours getting the Puppy Playroom a little more put together. There is a tarp down to protect the carpet, and some brand new puppy-friendly interlocking tiles (soft and textured) going down. We will lock a couple of the crates open so that the puppies will be able to use them for sleeping (the beginning of crate training!) in groups as soon a we move them into the room (when they outgrow the whelping box in a couple weeks). Lots more to load into this room before the puppies move in, but its fun to see it starting :)
