6 years ago, right about now, my daddy escorted me down the aisle to In My Life as Jennifer Swanson & my husband escorted me back out to Its the End Of the World As We Know It as Jennifer Stapp. Neither of us had any idea just how freakin accurate that was but I wouldnt change a minute of our married life together. It hasnt been easy but it hasnt always been hard, either and while it hasnt always been pretty, there have been some pretty freakin amazingly beautiful moments. Most importantly though, every time we have faced loss, experienced extreme wacked out, crazy, unexpected hardships and even as people close to us have expected us to fail, it has just brought us closer. 6 years ago, as part of the required pre-marital counseling, Kyle Stapp made a joke to the preacher about how he didnt understand me at all but just last week, as we were talking about the future, I realized Wow! This man actually gets me! Not only does he believe in me but he understands me enough to know WHY he believes in me! And I realized at that moment that were no longer running on faith... Were no longer trying to beat the odds... We have arrived at our destination and where we go from here is entirely up to us. Love you, Babe. Cant wait!
