625-pound man pleads guilty to making bomb threat GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) – A jailed, 625-pound western Michigan man has pleaded guilty to making a false bomb threat after being arrested for driving on a suspended license. The Grand Rapids Press reports (bit.ly/1Dc3Icc ) Jeffery Klein was arrested Thursday by Grand Rapids police and taken to the Kent County Jail. The 44-year-old pleaded by video to the fake threat made in 2012 against a mobile home park. Prosecutors dismissed the habitual offender status against him. Klein faces a four-year maximum sentence on Feb. 12. Defense attorney Damian Nunzio says he doesnt know how Klein managed to be driving or where he was going. Klein missed court hearings during the past two years and said his size prevented him from leaving home. A judge ruled in September he could plead guilty from his home.
