#6897 I hate it when people judge you for the type of music you listen to. Unless that artist is degrading another human being or another person, music is beautiful in all its various forms. Just because you dont necessarily like another piece of music doesnt mean it hasnt helped or done something for someone else. I respect people for all their musical tastes, but I love it when people can respect others as well. To trash someone elses music is the same as someone else trashing yours. One great way and different way in appreciating music, is taking the time to listen. Listen to the lyrics, listen to the melodies, and the tones and the symphony of sounds. Try to understand....why would someone like this? Its a step at understanding another human being. Appreciating art, whether its music or not, is a way of appreciating another humans experience in this world and how they choose to express themselves. And unless it has been made to hurt or degrade others, I find respecting all different types, even if you dont necessarily like it, important.
