6th December, 2014 Saturday -------------------------------------------- I have learnt it the hard way, when life pulled me from my fairytale world and pushed me down on my knees, that reality is not a fairytale. We grow up feeding on Disneys stories, that make us believe that all the worlds happiness can be achieved by a presence of a man. A man who will be the smartest, most intelligent, most romantic, most trustworthy creature made just for us and we will live happily ever after. I really wish I could burn all that junk we make our girls grow on, because thats just rubbish. As women, we really dont know our strengths till we are tested in hot waters. Men are an important part of life but we cannot and should not act like damsels in distress who cant make it in life without the support of one. Our dads support us no doubt, but then its up to us to build our self worth and that has become more important in todays world than ever before. As harsh as it may sound, men suffer from low self esteems more than women and they get an ego boost by proving how their better half needs to work harder to match their levels of hard work and intelligence and knowledge of the real world. What do you know? Tumhain kya pata?? Make sure you never end up hearing these words from a man, because if you still do after attaining all those degrees, might as well burn them in your kitchen and get cooking. Build your self worth ladies, you are created as an equal to your man, not as a sub-ordinate and any man who makes you feel anything less is not worth it. Know your worth. Cherish it! Love, Huda J.
