7/27/13 Update - Finished the dirt work on the runway, especially the north end. All sections of the mat are down and stapled in place. It will shrink and tighten up in the sun. Several days from now, maybe next weekend, we will glue the seams and nail the edges down. In the meantime, the runway is open. There are some seams and wavy areas on the runway. Inspect it and decide if you want to use it. Move the buckets of nails, but please put them back when you are finished flying. They are part of the temporary hold down system.
