7,3℅ Thats close to the 8% absolute maximum that the polling firms were giving me and the 6% that they were announcing less than three day ago. More than 3000 people voted for me, which is pretty amazing given fact that nobody knew my name and that my party didnt help me getting the vote out, quite the contrary! Congratulations to Michael Colle whos an amazing MPP and totally deserves his victory, to Robin Martin who ran a great and respectful campaign and who would have also deserved to win, and to Lucas McCann who has proved that the Green Party has a major role to play in Ontarios politics. Thank you to my amazing campaign team, and first and foremost to Raphaelle without who nothing would have happened. Thank you to the members of the NDP riding association for their support and their generosity. And finally, thank you so much to the amazing people of Eglinton-Lawrence. I am so happy to have met you. I am so grateful that you opened your doors to me. My initial impression has been confirmed. This riding is extremely progressive, and 7,3% orange misrepresents the cocktail. We can claim at least a third of the vote. And we will! I will work hard to get things done.
