7.32 inches of rain today in the northern suburb of Madison, TN and yes, we had school. It took me over 90 minutes to drive to work and find passable roads to get there. 277 of our students were not able to make it to school today. I pray they all have somewhere safe and dry to sleep tonight. Pray for daddy...he had a procedure done today at the hospital. When they looked down his esophagus they discovered nerve damage. This will keep him from eating and he will remain on feeding tube. Daddy has not complained, but I know he would love to be able to eat and especially drink a peach tea! :) The doctors and rehab staff want to attempt to work on correcting this. Not sure what is damage from all the surgeries and what is damage from the neuropothy, but daddy promises me he is going to keep working and fighting. He gets stronger every day and is taking some steps in therapy. Please keep he and mother in your prayers as you have over the past 4 1/2 months! So thankful for my baby girl, Casey Deel who made adjustments in her day to be with them so I could be at school. I love you sweet girl!
