7/9/14 - Carrie was admitted to Northwest Memorial Center Hospital after around 6 hours in the ER. Before admission, x-rays of the lungs, ultrasound and a CT Scan were performed. X-rays again show her right lung is filling with fluid faster than her left. The ultrasound was to find the largest concentration or pocket of fluid large enough between organs and bowels so Paracentesis can be performed. They need to determine if the fluid accumulation is infectious or not so a sample is needed. They also found a pocket of fluid surrounding the heart which may be contributing to the irregular heartbeat and somewhat high heart rate she has been experiencing lately. CT results and second x-ray results have not yet been discussed.
