7. Seven years ago this weekend, I moved away from all my family and friends, everyone I knew, moved away from my home in South Texas to North Central Texas. Seven years I have been completely independent, entirely on my own. I cook the food. I feed the cats. I clean the house. I take out the trash. I maintain the house. I mow the lawn. I sweep the carport. I tend the garden. I nurse the sick cats and clean up after their sick messes. I tend to my wounds and manage my own medications. I clean the litter boxes. I do the laundry. I do the dishes. I do all the shopping. I pay every single bill. I pay the rent. I maintain the car. I own the car. I manage the budget. I run this show. 7. #independentwoman
