7 days is taking its toll. 1st the lawn mower broke. Then the washer got clogged and wouldnt drain any water except onto my garage floor. Then the AC broke, causing water damage in three rooms having the floors ripped up. No AC for the week-end...97 degrees........9 fans and 2 dehumidifiers blowing hot air all over my house. The fans unrolled the paper towels, unrolled the toilet paper. Cannot have anything stay put in the kitchen, try to wrap something up with saran wrap, and the fan blows it stuck to itself until you are ready to pull your hair out.........then you have to straddle fans to try and wash any dishes, so forget that.....straddle some more fans while you are trying to wash hands, face. or even your teeth. Dont tell the dentist or the beauty police but I skipped a nite...it was just too hard.....Cant hear myself think. THESE FANS ARE WAY TOO LOUD......YOU CAN HEAR MY TV DOWN THE STREET. I dont care...then the restorations guys find more water in the hallway, rip up more floor.......bring in the other two fans and dehumidifier......watch out for the cord, you dont want to trip. Microwave is in the living room.....plugged it in to warm up dinner, oops.......threw a circuit breaker.....so I could not get it to stay un thrown, so I turned on the oven to warm up this little piece of tomato pie I wanted for lunch and BAM. Threw some more breakers....now I have no oven, no refrigerator, no tv or computer.......put a call in and the restoration guys come up and put in an electrical box that holds most of the plugs eating away at my electricity....but now I cant use my stove. But I did get back the micro, tv and the rest of the stuff......Im..getting a little cranky about now.......now we have the desk and computer out in the middle of the livingroom, along with the kitchen chairs....and two fans.....and a couple more fans to help cool us off. AC is fixed and running non stop now and I cant complain cause at least the bedrooms are cool at night and if I shut the door I cant hear the fans........days filled with people coming in and out of my house. I have so much to be thankful for - but now I think the dryer is acting funny.........Im off to work - takes my mind off all this for a llittle while, so grateful to have the wonderful job I have.......and two days off after tomorrow...........I feel better now, thanks for letting my bend your ear.
