7 nights in hospital now & although it feels like 7 months, I cannot praise the nurses & midwives enough. We have met & continue to meet some wonderful people with so much empathy & guidance. Also the cleaning & catering staff have been great. So much professionalism & the food has actually been nice. You can clearly see cutbacks that have been made & apart from it being unfair & critical to the patients, it is unfair to the staff as they are under some level of pressure. I, for one, will never take for granted what they do again! In other news, hoping to introduce Noah into the big bad world tomorrow once Mammy is feeling well through the night :)
