7 things that Jesus lovers won’t do 1 Jn 2: 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many. Jn 21:1-5 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself. 2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. 3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. 4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. 1. Jesus lovers won’t continue to live in sin. They don’t live in hypocrisy, Jesus lovers won’t go back to their old way of life. {Let’s go fishing} Every time you commit sin, you are nailing Jesus Christ afresh to the cross. Just imagine you taking the hand of Jesus Christ and placing it on the wood and nailing it with a long nail of fornication or falsehood. Every thing you get through sin is like the 30 pieces of silver that Judas got from the high priest to betray Jesus Christ. Did Judas enjoy the money he got for betraying Jesus? He labored for nothing. He was deceived. Every time you yield to sin, you are killing yourself gradually. Whatever you get through sin will sooner or latter take away your peace and become a threat to your life. Jesus lover will not sell their souls even if you offer them the whole world. 1Jo 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Sin is unclean, sin is ugly, sin is stinking, and sinful life is devilish. I am a Jesus lover and sin is under my feet in Jesus name. I love Jesus, I can not yield to sin. 2. Jesus lovers won’t love staying away from the presence of God; from worship and fellowship. Acts 2:41-42. “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers”. Ps 42:1-2. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? 3. Jesus lovers don’t talk about people, they talk about Jesus. 2Co 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. Don’t spend your time preaching or spreading the news about people, what A or B has said or done. Spend your time talking about the love of Jesus Christ. Jesus lovers don’t promote themselves, they don’t make a show of themselves; they glorify Jesus. Every gossiper is an employee of Lucifer. Working hard to destroy relationships and spreading falsehood. Jesus lovers don’t talk about people, they testify about Jesus. 4. Jesus lovers won’t live with un-confessed and un-repented sins. Re 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Jesus lovers hate dirt, we hate defilement. Don’t give room for your mind to be defiled. Don’t give room for your spirit to be defiled. Don’t give room for your body to be defiled. Don’t give room for your testimony to be defiled. The devil is after your soul, don’t give room for your soul to be defiled with all forms of movies and satanic inspired songs. Tell, 10 people, I am washed by the blood of Jesus. God only forgives confessed and repented sins. Confess your sins and be free in Jesus name. 5. Jesus loves don’t hate people. You can not love God and hate his children. 1Jo 4:20 “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” 6. Jesus lovers are not stingy; they give for the Kingdom of God. 2Co 9:7 “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver”. 7. Jesus lovers won’t do things to impress people; they do things to please Jesus Christ. {If Jesus is not happy about it, I am out of it} 1Thess 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. Our greatest duty is to please Jesus Christ with all our lives; they same way that Jesus pleased the Father with all His life in obedience to the Father. Joh 8:29 “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him”. Declare aloud: I am a Jesus lover, and I am proud about it in Jesus name.
