7 year old Lloyd is currently in the US via the MAA hosting program. He is being hosted by a family in central Illinois through August 1st. He is diagnosed with beta thalassemia minor and though he is a carrier, he currently does not require any transfusions. From the family that is hosting him: We currently have Lloyd in our home. He is seven and needs a forever home. We are hosting him for the next three weeks. We so much would like to find him a forever family. He is healthy and doing fine. He is active and energetic and doesnt seem to struggle with being tired or weak from thal at all. He loves the pool and is full of life! He is currently being hosted in central Illinois so the opportunity exists for an interested family to be able to meet him before he goes back to China August 1st.
