70. ITS MY HEART THAT MATTERS CHRISTIANITY(1) NOW, MANY WILL SKIP THIS OR INSTANTLY PICK A QUARREL WITH IT JUST FROM THE TITLE. But its time this teaching is redressed. For so long it has been heard and held unto by so many desperate enough for salvation, that just any form offered to them is acceptable. Yes, because even the holiest saint that ever lived is deficient when viewed in the light of Gods holiness and righteousness, God looks more on the hearts intent and inclinations than on the actual works done( but please note that some actual works were done). But can you remember anyone who was called by God, and without being dealt with by God, doing real exploits for God and His kingdom? Is there any company/ group that will make someone its ambassador whose conduct is continually ill-representing its interest while maintaining that their conduct doesnt matter so long as their heart is right with the company? Is there anyone who will wear a new £1 000 000 dress on an old smelly one and just wave off its smell, saying it doesnt matter? Did God deliver the Israelites from the oppression in Egypt and leave them there without taking them to the promised land? How can we be so happy going about the Fathers business with the nature of our former father still with us? How can we be so happy going through life with the old man while carelessly telling everyone that it doesnt matter so long as our hearts are right with God? Have we not be expressly commanded to put off the old man and its vile( even its mild) practices? Yes, Christ came to call the sinners. But thats only half of the story. JESUS CAME TO CALL THE SINNERS OUT OF SIN INTO RIGHTEOUSNESS so we can become true children( Holy and Perfect) of our Father. Justification wont do this for us( except we die immediately after our new birth) and sanctification never leaves a man the way it met him. So its time to have a second look at this phrase: its my heart that matters and put it in its right respective. May the Lord open your mind as you read 1John 3:5-10, Hebrews 6:11-12, 2 Corinthians 13:5, Titus 3:8, 2Peter 1:10,Luke 1:74, 2 Peter 3:17, Matthew 11:29-30, James 2:21-26, Matthew 23:25-26, Romans 8:28-29, 1 Peter 2:24,1 Peter 3:4, Titus 2:11-12, Romans 6, Titus3:8.
