71 Two weeks later. Schools were re-opening on the following week and I couldnt wait to get in the matric class. Things were going great in the last two weeks and nothing interesting happened. My daughter was turning one year after three weeks (first week of feb). I wasnt planning on doing something big for her just a family party, usemncinci lomntu akazi nto. My counselling sessions were starting the following monday but I didnt see the use of it as I have already forgotten about the whole situation but my sister would kill me if she hears that Im giving up. I woke up on a sunday morning and it was raining and very cold. I checked the time and it was past 8. It was too early to wake up on a rainy day and besides I had no plans and I found it weird doing house chores on that kind(a) weather. I stayed indoors the whole day in bed. My mom was furious that I slept all day but I didnt mind her. My siblings and my cousins were gone. The house was very quiet and boring. I got off bed because I was very hungry and started to feel weak. I went to the bathroom, washed my face and brushed my teeth then went to the kitchen. I made toasted bread with a lots of margarine and coffee. I went back to my room and ate. After eating I chove the dishes there and got in under covers. I was woken up the following morning by my mom telling me I should get ready for my sessions. I angrily got up and checked the time and it was still 9. Me : *yawn* But mom is still early. Mom : Sundixelela ikaka Anele. I wont tolerate your laziness mna, go and clean the kitchen + the lounge. Me : *mumbling* But thats not fair. Mom : Intoni? Me : *bored* Akhonto. Mom : Ndizokubetha mna if youll continue with your attitude. Me : Ndivile mama. I made my bed, cleaned around my room. The kitchen was very messy. I cleaned it without arguing with anyone or asking questions but as I was about to clean the lounge mama got in. Mom : Awuzo clean(a) in pyjamas apha. Me : But I already did that in the kitchen njena. Mom : Hamba uyokhulula ezo zinto. Me : So I should just go and change, take a bath then come back and clean? Mom : If thats what youre considering. Me : Im considering in cleaning while still in pyjamas. Mom : Ndithethile Anele. Me : -_-. Mom : Dont give me that face wena. Me : *mumbling* I curse the person that made you angry. She was about to speak when I left her there and went to my room. I changed into an old short and vest ndanxiba nezi sleepers. I continued cleaning and bendiqhibile pha ngo 11. My sessions were starting around 1. I took a shower then wore jean, boots, coat and beanie. I asked for taxi fare kodwa she already told Lonwabo to drop me off. I said goodbyes my daughter, mom and Esihle. Lonwabo dropped me off at that building. I got a call from Elethu asking my whereabouts. Me : Elethu andinguye umntana mna, I know whats best for me. Elethu : Ndithe uphi? Me : Ndi apha kule building kodwa andaz i-office yiphi. Elethu : Youre not a child mus Anele, ask the around. Me : Ndithe ndingumntana mna? Arg. I hung up. Went to the receptionist and asked for Miss Phokwanes office. Receptionist : Do you have an appointment? Me : Yes. She called to confirm and yeah Miss Phokwane ordered her to tell me I should go up. Me : Thank you! Receptionist : *smiles* Thats my job. I went the elevator and went straight to Miss Ps office. I knocked. She ordered me to come in. I got in and she was so pleased to see me. Miss P : You can take a seat. Me : Enkosi. We had our one and half hour session then she gave me tasks to do and I was ready to go. Miss P : Same time on wednesday. I nodded. Me : See you on wednesday. I went to the foyer and called Lonwabo. Lonwabo : Mntase. Me : Im done. Lonwabo : Umama uhambile. Me : So ndiyohamba ngantoni mna ngoku? Lonwabo : Andaz. Me : Make a plan mchana. Lonwabo : *laughs* Pity I dont have the ability to fly. Me : Mxm. I hung up. I called Bandile but he was too busy to pick me up. My day was not really going as planned. I had to make a plan. I went back to Miss Ps office. Me : Ndinenxaki Miss. Miss P : What is it dear. Me : My mom cant pick me up due to some reasons and I dont have taxi fare. She took out her purse and gave me R50. Me : Enkosi. Ill return it on wednesday. Miss P : No problem love. I went out and it was still raining hard. I had no umbrella :(. As I was sitting there I got a phone call from Lonwabo Me : Mntase. Lonwabo : Are you sorted? Me : Ewe kodwa its still raining. Lonwabo : Why dont you call Bandile? Me : Hes busy. Lonwabo : Ndi feel(a) bad ngok. Me : Nah dont be. Ill be fine. I hung up. The waiting was killing me and I wanted to be at home, in my bed sipping coffee. After a while, the rained slowed down and it was safe to go home even though I would be a little bit wet. I caught a taxi home and got off next to shop and ran home. Esihle, Lonwabo and Lwethu were sitting in the lounge watching cartoons and covered in blankets. Lonwabo : Oh bethuna. Uxolo nana. Me : Akho nxaki buu. Ndi safe ngoku. I went to my room and changed into pyjamas and hanged my clothes. I took a blanket and went to join them. Me : Its freezing cold. Why didnt you turn on the heater. Esihle : We dont see the reason to. Me : Okay. My phone rang and it was Bandile. Me : Mhm? Bandile : Ouch! That was cold. Are you sorted? Me : Ewe ndi right, ndisendlini ngok. Bandile : Can I come pick you up? Me : Oh youre no longer busy ngok? Bandile : Dont be like that Anele. Me : Mxm. I hung up. He kept on calling but I ignored them. Lonwabo : Hay Anele yoh. Youre so moody. Esihle : Youre lucky to have someone whos so patient like Bandile. Me : -_- tell me about it. Lonwabo : Youll regret it one of the days. Me : I believe yonke into inxesha layo wethu. Esihle : *claps once* Hehake. Lonwabo : Youre stubborn wena. If I was your boyfriend, I would have dumped your stubborn ass. Me : *looks away* Im glad youre not one. Esihle : *laughs* We heard a knock on the door. They both looked at me. Me : *laughs* Lonwabo check the door, Im feeling cold. Lonwabo : Why didnt you choose Esihle? Esihle laughed. Lonwabo opened the door and Lwethu quickly got off the couch in excitement. Lwethu : Tata. -_-. Did he really have to show up? Bandile : Hello nana ka tata, unjani? Lwethu : Right. Bandile : Nam ndiyabona. Bendikukhumbule nanam. Lwethu : Nam tata. I was looking away the whole time. Bandile : Molweni bantu. Lonwabo & Esi : Molo. Me : Ufuna ntoni apha Bandile? Esihle gave me a death stare. Bandile didnt answer me. Lonwabo : Ndisayojonga iphone yam. Esihle : And Im going to make a coffee. They got up. Bandile sat on the single couch. Bandile : Why you ignoring my calls. Me : Yintoni le ubu busy ngayo? Bandile : Bendise Louis Pasteur ndiyothatha amayeza ka Anathi and the doctor was not around so I had to wait. Me : Is that an excuse. Bandile : Hay. Me : Done? Bandile : And ndizothatha wena noLwethu. Me : To? Bandile : My mom wants to see her. Shell come back Sunday and wena uhamba nam. Me : A child cant be visiting in this kind of weather. Bandile : Hau Anele, shes going to her family. Me : Okay Ill pack her things. I packed Lwethus warm clothes and her toys. Me : Im done ke. Bandile : Uhamba nam ngezi pyjays? Me : Ewe, its not like sizohamba mus and I wont get off at your crib. He nodded. Guess he was speechless. He brought more blankets and we got under covers and cuddled. He played with my hair until I fell asleep. Do you know the feeling when you feel like someone is staring at you? Yep I got that feeling and thats when I woke up but kept my eyes closed. I smiled and opened one eye. I found him staring at me and I covered my face with the sheet. Me : How long were you staring at me? Bandile : Too long. Me : Thats creepy bra. Bandile : Uxolo babe. He removed the sheets and planted a kiss. Bandile : Still want that coffee? Me : Ewe kodwa ndizoyenza. Bandile : Nam ndiyayifuna. I went to the kitchen and made two cups of coffee and called Bandile. Bandile : Lets go watch a movie. Me : Ndizohamba mna in no time.
