77 Hours (Day Three): Today our team focused on international needs in missions. We learned how agencies here in Du Page Co. (like Feed My Starving Children) serve the global community. Then at World Relief we focused on how the global community is coming here to the Wheaton area (over 75,000 refugees have come through the Wheaton World Relief headquarters). At a task level, we packed food and washed cars. But that work supported ministries that are as far reaching as Burkina Faso. On a team level, today we focused on team bonding (Xtreme trampolines helped :D) and on learning basic leadership skills. Tomorrow the teens will be working in self-led teams to organize, advertise, and implement a movie night for FBC and World Relief families! Im tired today, but still excited for what the students are learning and accomplishing!
