#7DayGratitudeChallenge #Day 7 1. Im thankful for all of Gods little mercies. As I often say, perhaps with a hint of exaggeration, in Gidi it is a small miracle to leave your home in the morning and return home safely in the evening without incident. 2. Im grateful for smartphones + internet data. The sheer amount of information we have at our fingertips! Cant help but imagine wistfully what would have been had I had access to the repository of knowledge that is the internet my entire life. Kids these days simply have no excuse to be dumb. 3. Id take a cue from Dipo Okuribido and round off by expressing gratitude for this gratitude challenge itself. Indeed theres so much we take for granted. Coming off the heels of the ice bucket challenge charade, it took some convincing to persuade my cynical self to participate in this, but Ive surprised myself by how much Ive enjoyed it. I nominate fellow cynic Sesan Bella, Oronsaye Christian (if you havent already participated in this) and Yemisi Fowode to participate in the gratitude challenge, naming 3 things you are grateful for each day for the next 7 days, and nominating 3 friends to do likewise each day.
