7mm.10mm.12mm(pre order) All elephant products, including ivory and elephant hair, come from a certificated OTOP (One Tambon One Project) village that ensures no elephants are harmed or killed in the making of the products. These products are made in Surin Province, which is considered home of the Thai Elephant. The ivory is taken only from the tip of the elephants tusk, and the hair found in the elephant hair bracelets are collected as they naturally shed from the elephants tail. Usually the hair will either be brown, black grey or white, with the white hairs being the rarest as this takes many long years to turn white and fall off the tail. Most of the elephant hairs are imported from certified suppliers in Africa who do not harm or kill any elephants for the hair. The hair is then sent to skilled jewelers in Surin province who smoothen the hair and craft them into bracelets. According to a 1200-year-old legend, it is believed that the wearer of an Elephant hair bracelet would be protected from illness, taken out of harms way and attain great fortune.
