8-) It should be a duty upon any sane and responsible government to protect the values, and cultures of its people. Every society has some couples of things it considered taboo, and vices, and have her own way of life which must not be compatible to other societies, those values must be respected in a true federalism by everyone who left his own society and wanted to live around a different society. Therefore. Kano state has every right to regulate the circulation of intoxicants like alcahol, codeine e.t.c, and any body who wanted to sip kai kai, burukutu or gulder should go to Sabon Gari, the regulation is not working up there. And thats how it should work. To those complaining, do you espect me to give up my values and rights just to comply with your bogus right? I dont think so, but, if you do, It would be better if you can file your case to the court of law against kano state, so there we can all clearly know our fate, but as far now, regulating alcahol is one of the laws made by kano state lawmakers and you must comply with.
