8:00 food delivery this morning at New Day Family Resource Center...many thanks to our volunteers, Shirley and Sue, who moved an amazing amount of canned goods into categorized boxes so Jim could put them all away! Now we are ready for todays shipment. Much thanks goes to our colleague Dennis Timple who has diligently ordered food since January or 2012, and kept stats, etc, and kept meticulous records of dollars, pounds (tons!), families served and so much more. Grateful for all the volunteers who work hard, day in and day out! Next week is Volunteer Recognition Week...I plan to let the Sandusky Register know that we have one of the best crews of volunteers in Erie County! Praise God!
